Sunday Oct 25th the CTS tactical series event 4 was held at the Soldier Gear outdoor field.
This was the first time that Soldier Gear hosted a Canadian Tactical Series event but, it won't be the last.
The event was very well run and it will be a pleasure hosting an event next year. The Eh Team Militia took home 1st place!
The event was also covered by Tom "Tomcat" Cunningham of the Catshack reports.

Barrie Colts Atom A Fundraiser
Soldier Gear Paintball would like to thank the Barrie Colts atom a team, sponsored by " The Market Buffet " for choosing Soldier Gear's outdoor paintball field for their team fundraising event. It was a great day of paintball and the team made $353.00. Team organizer Jaime - Lynn was thrilled with the turnout as well as how much they made, just by playing paintball. Soldier Gear is looking forward to having them back for next years fundraiser.
Clearview Girls BB Fundraiser
On Sunday September 13th, 2009 the Clearview Girls Bantan BB team held a fundraiser at Soldier Gear Paintball to help raise funds
for the 2009 season. On what started out to be a grey day, event organizer Patti Young was a little nervous the weather would squash the turnout at the outdoor field in Essa
Township. By 10:00am the sky was starting to clear and the girls started to role in for a fun day of paintball and team building. By lunch time Al Martin, owner of Soldier Gear,
had to do an emergency run to our other location in Angus to pick up more rental equiptment to keep up with the demand of people showing up. Most of the girls attending had
never tried paintball before but were quickly hooked on the adrenaline filled sport. The girls coack Mike Nieleszeruk was very happy with the turn out and number or people who
came out to support the team. At the end of the day the team had raised $600.00 while enjoying some team building and camaraderie. Al Martin said "he was thrilled to be able to
help the girls out and was thrilled to see the number of female participants having a great day".
The team and staff would like to thank Soldier Gear Paintball and there staff for a great day, as well as thank their friends and family that came out to support the team as they kick off the 09/10 season.
